For sale here is a 1982 Ludwig Quad Modular Outfit - 8 Piece Maple Drum Kit. Red Mahogany Finish. ***PICK UP Kit in CHICAGO!!- I will NOT ship this MONSTER**** THE SPECS (Depth x Diameter) 9x8 Tom 9x10 Tom 12x13 Tom 13x14 Tom 16x16 Suspended Floor Tom 16x18 Suspended Floor Tom 14x22 Bass Kick Drum 5x14 Super Sensitive snare (mid-70's BO Badge, pointy Corners) All hardware pictured, Ludwig snare stand, Ludwig Floor Tom Stand, no-name tripod, with Ludwig rack mount for 8" and 10" toms ****Throne not included**** THE GOOD -All the drums sound GREAT, play Great. -6 of the 8 drums (all except the snare and 14" tom) are in really good condition, beautiful and clean. They are 35 years old, there are a few dings, nicks, rash, but nothing too terrible. THE BAD -the chrome shell of the Super Sensitive snare is heavily pitted, see pics -the 13x14 tom was victim to a flood, sat in water for a period- the inside of the drum is a dirty/discolored, the screws and washers that hold on the lugs are a little discolored. Some light checking on the finish. All lugs are nice and clean (I replaced the bad ones) -stands and hardware have a bit of wear, dirt, and oxidation -many of the 5/16 square head screws (drum key style) for tightening the mounting arm brackets have been lost and replaced with 5/16 stainless steel hex bolts -Black wood hoops on Kick drum are not original, but I believe they are from another Ludwig kit from this era. -TOMS have original Ludwig Rocker silver dot heads on them, covered in tape, and tape residue, but kinda neat THE BONUS I have the original, very dirty, water damaged 24" bass drum. It needs major restoration and hardware, but its free if you want it! Ask any question, again, pickup in Chicago only
