This is a rare bird for sure and a great guitar. Cort Joe Beck-6 Model Archtop. Spruce top maple back and sides. Maple neck “C” shape profile neck plays like a dream. Mother of pears dot inlays, multi-ply binding, blond natural glossy finish. Uniquely shaped soundholes and Venetian cutaway. Two “Mighty Mite” covered ainico humbuckers, two volume and two tone controls with a 3-way toggle selector for pickup switching. Floating bridge, Tune-O-Magic saddles, Trapeze Hofner style tailpiece and wood pickguard. This guitar plays and sounds great with a warm, resonant, mellow tone. The Humbuckers have a classic jazz or blues flavor with richness in the neck pickup position and a crisp punchy brightness in the bridge pickup position. This is an easy playing lighter weight guitar and with the wider lower bout it feels like a substantial roomy guitar. This guitar has been out of production for 15 years and you’ll never find another new on like this. Played one time I. A recoding session. Never played out and rarely taken out of the case.
