Description
2003 RSX Type-S K20A2 w/6-speed (original engine and trans) Dyno tuned on K-Pro @ 230whp 1.5way Clutch plate LSD and recently rebuilt trans I’ve owned this car since I bought it as a project around 2018, and daily drove it throughout most of my time owning it, fixing it up as I want. After several years, I decided I wanted to make it a bit more fun, as I had a newer car for daily driving. It isn’t the prettiest RSX out there, but it is set up to really enjoy and enhance a spirited drive. It runs and drives well, but does not have A/C, ABS doesn’t work, and the SRS light is on but doesn’t report any faults. The A/C could be restored but would need some parts. The car was in an accident in 2012. It was repaired and inspected back then, and issued a clean title in WA state, as it was not totaled and the accident was in another state. As it sits currently, it could use an alignment. It will drive straight but might see some extra tire wear as is. It’s pretty much adjustable in every way possible, so the alignment can be set to whatever suits you. I’ve consistently run a more aggressive alignment than stock spec. I’ve been back and forth on selling it, as I have a lot of love for this car, but I am currently holding onto too many other cars and need to start focusing on other aspects of life. The car has a fairly extensive mod list and way more information than I can actively remember or list, but the most major things I will add. I’m happy to answer questions, take more pictures, or whatever else. - MFactory 1.5way clutch plate LSD - DTR race header to HKS Hi-Power exhaust - RBC intake manifold with factory TB - Exedy Stage 1 clutch, Competition Clutch lightweight flywheel - Swapped to base model oil pan - Injen CAI with hydroshield, battery relocated to make room - Progress Tech CS3 coilovers (comes with both sets of available springs, no revalving needed to swap, car is currently on the softer set) - PCI tie rod ends/arms/adjustable rack mount - Mugen hardened steering rack bushings - PCI rack slider - Hardrace roll center adjuster/lower ball joints - Hybrid Racing shift bushings, detent springs, and shift selector springs, Acuity shifter base bushings - Voodoo13 rear LCAs - SPC camber bolts doubled up front, camber arms in rear - Progress Tech 24mm adjustable rear sway bar and endlinks, including tie bar. - Tuned on K-Pro by Richard Todd at Richtuned, immobilizer still works - Current setup read 230whp/160ft/lbs (I have the dyno sheet and pictures) - Transmission rebuilt by Brian Spiker at Translab LLC - All four wheel bearings and hubs replaced in the last couple years - All brakes done somewhat recently. Swapped to DOT4 fluid (ATE Type-200) and stainless brake lines. Carbotech 1521 brake pads. - Rear calipers rebuilt within the last 2000 miles Open to reasonable offers, but I’m not taking less than I could likely part the car out for. Only trades I have interest in are a kei truck, a 77-78 280Z coupe shell, or a mid to late 60s Elco.
