I had a great experience here! Everyone we met was friendly and respectful. I appreciated that they didn’t come off too pushy. I brought my brand-new Lexus to Lexus of Tampa Bay for its first oil change, expecting the high-quality service promised by the Lexus brand. Instead, I left with a car that was returned to me damaged and disrespected—a complete betrayal of trust and a stain on the dealership’s reputation.
Upon picking up my vehicle, I was horrified to find multiple instances of damage that were not present when I dropped it off. The interior door panel was scuffed and scratched, the plastic molding was popped out and misaligned, and the leather on the door panel was visibly damaged. To make matters worse, there were blatant paint scuffs from what looked like careless shoe marks, as if someone had recklessly clambered over my car. This kind of negligence during a routine oil change is absolutely unacceptable for a dealership representing a luxury brand like Lexus.
I entrusted Lexus of Tampa Bay with my pristine new vehicle, and they returned it to me in worse condition than when I arrived. This experience has completely shattered my confidence in their service department. I strongly urge other Lexus owners to avoid Lexus of Tampa Bay at all costs unless you’re willing to risk your vehicle being treated with the same carelessness. I will be escalating this matter to Lexus corporate and pursuing repairs at my own expense, as this dealership has shown no intention of taking responsibility. Do yourself a favor and take your business to a service center that actually values its customers.
