Tribal head sculptures; hand carved from unidentified dark hard wood, likely ebony. Purchased by my grandmother from the sculptor in Tanzania in 1979. Likely to represent Maasai tribal women. No evident damage. No scratches, chips, or dents. Approximate dimensions: Head #1: Weight: 1 lb, 10 oz; 4.0" maximum from front of face to back of head; 8-7/8" tall from base to apex of head. 2.0" maximum width of base Head #2: Weight: 1 lb, 9 oz; 4.0" maximum from front of face to back of head; 9" tall from base to apex of head, 2.0" maximum width of base
