Description

Runs, drives, stops and all systems are functional at the moment but there are things to be aware of Prefer to sell whole and price i expect to flexibly negotiate on the price. Willing to part out. Motor is strong, no shifting issues, no electronic issues, brake parts are all road worthy, wheels and tires I havent taken a close look at because I haven't had reason, front end is good except shocks, power steering is solid, accessory belt and pulleys are good, alternator does provide charge to a recently replaced battery, headlights are dim but work high and low, wipers, door lock, radio, windows, lights, all good What it could use: Brakes need bled, still stops tho. Engine codes for oxygen sensors, 1 upstream 1 downstream so idles slightly rough but won't stall out or anything like that if you're at a stop light just slap in into neutral and it idles just fine, probably not the sensors that are bad it's probably air filter or fuel filter but the car is running a little lean (less gas in mixture than its supposed to) it's possible that it is an air leak somewhere past the filter, and worst case its the gasket on the intake which isn't scary. Shocks are weak, very bouncy. Battery terminals and cables/ clean off grounds. Tune up (spark plugs, clean air/fuel sensors, air filter, spark plugs) What it absolutely needs: Either a new rear strut or a rear hub is a must buy on one side, there is a lot of play on one of the wheels and it can be heard audibly, especially over bumps at speed limit and when moving in reverse. This is the main reason it's being sold, I can afford to get the part, pick n pulls have these all day, the strut is $50 at advanced auto so thats cheap and you get a new part, but issue for us is not the price or labor, I'm very capable with repair I just don't have any tools (they were stolen) and we are fortunate to have another car that we are going to register, get tabbed, and get a little TLC done on that car with the money from this car, so having that as an option enables us to not need to worry about this car. There are a couple other things but nothing that will cause a break down or major driveability issues, but that rear end you will need to address ASAP at least but it's going down the road. I'm pretty confident it's the strut but it could also be just a bushing which would make this issue not so much a priority, but i havent got the car in the air because i just dont feel like doing it since im not doing any work. If you have tools I am happy to help you with anything that needs done on the car within reason. I don't enjoy playing video games or watching TV and there's not much more than that to do these days so I got nothing better to do, you can do the work here if you want or I can ride my motorcycle to where you want to work on it. The car will drive around, I would not recommend the freeway but the person who drives this has been bravely riding I5. Titles in hand
