This baseball cap is from the Fort Lauderdale Yankees Florida State League baseball team. The Fort Lauderdale Yankees were the single A affiliate of the New York Yankees between 1990 and 1992. Many New York Yankee players during that era started their major league careers in single A ball in Fort Lauderdale. The Fort Lauderdale Yankees played their games in Fort Lauderdale Stadium which is located next to Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport. Fort Lauderdale Stadium was also the spring training home for the New York Yankees for many years. Uniforms and especially ball caps from the Fort Lauderdale Yankees team are extremely hard to find. This all original Fort Lauderdale Yankees baseball cap is in brand new condition. It's navy blue in color the same color as a New York Yankees caps. It has the embroidered logo on the front which is the FTL representing Fort Lauderdale and it is size 6 7/8. Once again this is a piece of Fort Lauderdale sports history and these caps are extremely extremely hard to find. The price is $45.
