1979 Ford LTD

Please contact me with any questions I can't put all the information in the ad because offer up limits it. THE BAD FIRST: Will need a smog certificate, Will it pass smog? I have no idea You are buying it as is. It will need tires (badly) since the pictures were taken one of the tires on it blew out just sitting It will now have the spare on it and the blown out tire will be inside the van Needs the carburetor rebuilt as it has a "flat spot" If you floor it if you are gentle with it it drives pretty normal, sometimes it feels like it's got a miss fire than other times it's perfectly smooth I don't know if it's carburation or ignition My guess is it's probably the control module You know that goofy 1970s box that all Fords had The reason why I say that is this one on the van appears to be leaking and they aren't supposed to leak. Realistically it could use a full tune up but it does run pretty good just assume the worst and it all needs replacing. Needs a wash job, I am tired of washing this van just to have it sit The damn things probably 18 ft long if not longer. The good: 460, C6, runs and drives Factory AC (needs charging) Power steering, power brakes power door locks cruise control Have pink slip in the original owner's name, on non-operational status with the Ca DMV, Asking $2,000, please no trades It is as is once you buy it you own it, I don't want to hear I screw you or any of that stuff
