Description

Ever wish you could keep your flyers alive until you could fish them in the morning? Now you can with these Flying Fish Tubes in a bucket It consists of 8 individually plumbed tubes (2” schedule 40 pvc) all fit inside the tall 100 mil 6.5 gallon bucket which are held in place by 3/4” starboard. Fed through a manifold with a ball valve to regulate flow. Everything is on the inside, except a handle for the flow regulating ball valve and your inlet (female garden hose fitting) and drain. With everything inside the bucket when you’re done and out of flyers, you can throw it in the bilge without worrying about any damage happening to it. The bucket is heavy duty with a sound handle and has a locking twist on lid so you can put it on with the flyers inside so they don’t keep splashing you. Flyers need and want barely any flow to stay alive so you can draw some water off your bait pump and depending on the size of your pump it most likely won’t hinder the flow of your tank. Other options for water flow are a deck wash down hose or a small 1/4 HP sump pump that can sit in the bottom of your tank. As long as you have the right flow (very minimal usually only cracking open the valve) you can keep flyers alive until they die of starvation. It’s kept 8 flyers alive for 4 days with no sign of weakening. Live flyers rarely last until noon the next day because they tend to get eaten quickly.. drop back mackerel live in the tubes great and have kept Mexican scad or “chihuil” in the tubes down south with great success. Then things are built right made will all quality materials. When you see them in person you will likely be impressed. Time to kill your PB BFT! PS. The photos with my old thrown together yellow buckets are just to show you flyers inside. Even though they worked perfectly the buckets I’m selling are of way better quality.
