2003 Nissan Altima

This is a 2003 Nissan Altima sedan 3.5 SE V6 with 181,328 miles. It was hit on the back passenger side, and taillight is cracked. I have a brand new taillight but haven't installed it. For what I know, and I'm no mechanic, it seems like the power steering is out. Maybe the power steering pump went, or it might be a broken hose. The car starts up with no problem. There is a check engine light on with other indicator lights on as well. I'm listing this vehicle for a neighbor of mine who fell ill and needs to get rid of this car asap, so what I wrote on here is all the info I have.
