I came with my own financing, I drove 2 hours to see it after going back and forth via text  about condition, history and what things I could expect. Our sales person sent photos and even a video upon request of every minuet scratch… It was a 4 year old car so I knew it wouldn’t be perfect. I was floored after the test drive to discover rust that was covered by brand new panels on the underbelly as well as new plastics and missing minor things like an Antenna and a couple of small interior trim bits. After coming to terms with all of the potential risks I tried to negotiate with the knowledge that the vehicle had an intact manufactures and warranty. I work in the automotive industry and know the cost of rust repair and tried to negotiate to cover said cost and was simply shot down because “I am only making a couple of hundred dollars over what I paid at auction.” Here’s hoping whoever looks at the car notices the defects and doesn’t get swindled out of their hard earned money.
