Description

Gorgeous English Tudor style cedar blanket chest/trunk made by the Ed Roos Company of Forest Park, Illinois. The Ed Roos Company was in operation from 1918 until 1951 and for a brief time sold more cedar chests worldwide than the Lane Furniture Company. This unique chest, which dates back to the 1930s, is raised on four turned legs with stretchers and has carved motifs on the outside and a removable sliding storage tray on the inside. The chest is in remarkably excellent vintage condition for its age with only a few minor blemishes on the finish. No damage. Dimensions: 48”L x 19”D x 25.5”H.
