Description

Exquisite Antique Japanese Kutani Satsuma Okimono of Jurojin Fukurokuju Longevity God Porcelain Signed Handpainted Figurine Statue. In one hand he is holding a scroll, on which is believed to be written the lifespan of all living things. The scroll is sometimes identified as a Buddhist sutra. The other hand is holding an intricately decorated walking cane. This is an extremely rare piece and highly sought after by collectors. In excellent condition with very minor rubbing to Jurojin’s beard (see pics) - no chips, cracks or repairs. Measuring just under 8” high x 4.5” wide. Makers signature on the bottom.
