Description

This is a mullet bike with 29in front and 27.5in rear wheels. I test rode the stock version of this bike and I felt that there were 4 components that kind a hold it back from reaching its full potential. So I bought a frame and had it built with the parts that I thought are best suited to unleash its full potential. 1). FORK — the original fork felt a bit flexy so I opted out for a Emtb speck fork. (Rockshox, bike take off) 2). The stock brakes didn’t felt to be the optimal choice either, so I chose to go with the trusted German brand Magura, and also opted for their Emtb speck brakes. NEW Magura brakes and NEW Magura rotors 203mm front and rear. 3). I also felt that the drivetrain could be improved, so I opted for the GX version of Sram Eagle 12 speed drivetrains. Shifter, cassette, derailleur, chain and crankset (165mm) are all NEW — Sram GX Eagle 12 speed. NEW Sram DM steel chainring 28T. 4). I didn’t feel that there is any problem with the rear wheel, but based on my previous experiences I chose to build a new wheel using DT Swiss EX 511 rim. NEW — tires Maxxis DHR 2 29x2.4 front and Maxxis DHR 2 27.5x2x4 rear NEW — tube (the rims have tape on them and are tubeless ready) NEW — dropper seat post NEW — seat (saddle) NEW — stem NEW — handlebar NEW — grips The bike is pretty much NEW since I took it out for a ride on the hill next to the house only a few time to test it and to set up the suspension. The brakes need more time of riding to be properly bedded in. The bike is great but I got electric one and now I don’t think I’ll be using it…, and that’s why is listed for sell. Asking for $2850 OBO. For more info contact the seller. Thanks for looking!
