Extremely rare vintage Alpine Design ALP SPORT goose down puffer jacket made in USA in the 1960s/1970s This vintage puffer is truly amazing. Great condition given age. One owner. Some spots and minor flaws see pics. Not sure if marks can be washed out or if stains Alp Sport was started in Boulder, Colorado in the early 1960s and later became known as Alpine Designs This jacket comes from that transitional period sometime in the 1960s or early 1970s The shell is constructed from a tightly woven nylon which is light and dense, much like modern shells - 100% goose down fill - All buttons/zipper/Velcro work great Like wearing a sleeping bag! Extremely warm and snuggly Made in Colorado USA by Alpine Designs in the late 1960s or early 1970s (belonged to my father) Snaps over large front zipper to seal out weather - Snaps at both wrists Hood which snaps to back of coat Huge front pockets that Velcro closed String with leather ties at neck and bottom Basically you can completely zip yourself into this thing – it’s truly amazing Men’s large – approximate measurements laying flat: Top of shoulder to bottom: 32” Pit to sleeve cuff: 25” Pit-to-pit: 27” Bottom/hem: 24” Please let me know if any Qs – this is a very rare find given age and condition
