Fingers crossed, so far every interaction I had has been positive.  We got a used car recently from this dealership, and the only thing I can complain about is how long we the whole process took, but it was a busy weekend so I can't fault them.
The sales guys were nice and not pushy at any point. They were accommodating to our requests and also gave us a number we were happy with for our trade-in.

There was an issue with a form we needed to get a car loan from a third-party, and the finance guy was very quick to update it and email me the new contract within a few minutes.

They were also very generous with changes we wanted to the car. They removed tinting from the window and polished and buffed out a corner of the car that had some damage.
They gave me a rental car for 2 days while it was worked on and even drove the car back to me to save me the 1 hour drive.

I definitely recommend this place.

My husband and I had such an excellent car-buying experience at Downey Hyundai. We were looking to buy an EV to take advantage of the federal tax credit going away at the end of the month. We knew exactly what we were looking for, but had difficulty finding a dealership with what we wanted in stock. Downey came up as a location where we could get our car soon. My husband reached out and had us meet with Jay, one of the salespeople. Jay is legit the coolest, most down-to-earth guy. He made the experience so easy and stress-free, and we never once felt like we were being pressured to buy things we didn’t want. He constantly checked in with us on the car's status, and it luckily came in sooner than expected. Everyone we worked with at Downey was so pleasant and made sure we were completely satisfied. From Jay, the most amazing salesperson but very unlike a salesperson we’ve ever met, Sam the sales manager, who made sure we were well taken care of, to Riham, our finance lady, who was so knowledgeable and made sure we understood everything she was explaining. Trust me, come to Downey if you’re looking for a Hyundai. They’re going to take care of you!!
