Vintage WWII nurses cape by Stein-Cahill Blue gray wool cape with beautiful bright red lining and gold metal buttons. Stand up collar has embroidered initials “SJI” on each side. Metal hook and eye closure on collar. Inner left lapel has a small pocket and yellow/gold embroidered name in cursive. Stein-Cahill Uniform Company Baltimore, MD, Pittsburgh, PA “Serving those who serve humanity” Shown on a size 4 dress form, which it fits perfectly. Probably best suited for a size small, or a smaller medium. 32” long, measured down the center of the back (not including collar) Excellent vintage condition The only thing to note is the gold metal buttons have been re sewn onto the cape, and may not be the original buttons that came on the cape (however, they are vintage).
