Buying my 2012 Honda Civic was a pleasant experience.
Until I noticed I was getting very poor gas mileage.
I took it to their mechanic who looked a it for free. He found nothing wrong. Just cleaned the MAF sensor.
So I took it to DOC Auto Repair. They did $380 worth of tests and came up with nothing. I paid another $130 to replace the MAP sensor (which had a momentary glitch while testing.)
I checked my mileage. Filled up from half tank. I drove 61.4 miles on 5.4 gal of gas. That's only 11.3 MPG. I called Christine and she believes 11MPG is acceptable for a Honda Civic. I DO NOT!
It's rated at 28 MPG City / 39MPG Hwy.
It has had poor mileage since I bought it 2 months ago.

Update:
I don't know where to go from here except to take it to a dealer and pay for the diagnosis again.
My car suddenly got good gas mileage! I don't know why except for guessing it might have been old gasoline in the tank.  I saw 39 MPG on the highway and 24 MPG driving around town.
(I still don't like being "gas-lighted" where someone tries to get you to believe something that's not true.)
