Description

This sunset painting of the San Diego skyline from State street just beyond the 5 freeway is a little-seen but incredible view of the city. The piece is a dramatic rendering of the classic SoCal cityscape. Parked cars, overpasses, and palm trees - the real San Diego. The piece itself is on a 4 feet by 5 feet canvas using archivally varnished acrylic paints. The edges are spillover giving the painting a finished feeling when hung with or without framing. It was painted using traditional media by local San Diego artist Zeben Gorman working from original photos. Gorman has been painting San Diego County for the last 7 years while also working as an elementary school teacher at a local school.
