Made in Japan The Realtone 5233 am/fm stereo multiplex is basically a stereo receiver with 12 vacuum tubes from the 60’s . It has tape out radio in mono and stereo a phono preamp and tape . Things to consider are changing the 3 section can capacitor and any old electrolytic capacitor along with ceramic. It works in both channels no hum from the transformer is heard but an upgrade would significantly increase sound quality and longevity of the system. No major repairs have been done to it only cleaned and dusted out.
