I have used this ekit as a home recording studio kit for just over a year. In terms of playing wear and tear, it's relatively minimal for a used kit as I have done far less work with it than anticipated ( 40-50 hours playing total ). I am selling this kit; studio work leads have dried up and my hobby interests are changing with age. It's time for me to spend some time doing other stuff...like Astronomy. With willingness to learn the setup and programming, you can get the most out of this ekit running it through professional drum resampling applications on a computer ( GGD, Drum Kit From Hell, etc. ). I have recorded numerous top- shelf professional quality drum tracks in this manner with any type of general drum tone desired. However, the TD-27 drum module itself provides sufficient tones and tremendous dynamic flexibility options for those just wanting an elevated practice kit. Please note that you get the double bass pedal, hi-hat stand, drum throne, and DW3000 single bass pedal with the purchase. This set normally does not come with those accessory parts unless offered as a package deal. Retail market price for a new kit with those accessories is over $4k. My price is half that, but the deal is local pick-up only. The payment transaction must take place in-person. The only part missing is the ride cymbal felt and cap, but that is easily replaceable with little cost...and it does not prevent playing.
