These have not been used for anything other than decorative purposes for the last 40 years and have never been in a dishwasher. Due to the nature of how these were produced, it is normal (and an indicator that these are not reproductions) to see small bubbles and pock marks throughout the glass, as well as trim lines on the bottom where the molten glass was clipped after pouring into the mold.
