Description
These guitars are easy to find online, but most are sold with age-related issues because proper repairs often exceed their value but this one was featured in a restoration video (link above), it received fretboard leveling, a complete refret, upgraded mother-of-pearl dots, period-correct tuners, and a light shellac seal. Built in São Paulo, Brazil, in April 1965, this lightweight, small-body classical guitar delivers a warm, dry, old-school tone that only a well-played vintage instrument can offer. It’s a real joy to play—come try it. The guitar shows significant honest wear and natural patina from decades of use. The original frets were worn nearly flat—especially notable for a nylon-string guitar, where fret wear is far less common. This character is a big part of its sound and feel. Condition highlights: • Straight neck • Fresh, level frets • Comfortable action with a low saddle • Minor but stable bridge separation A vintage guitar with WOW patina and tone for less than the price of a new factory instrument—the refret alone costs more than the asking price. Luthier services available.
