1979/1980 Ariens ST524 24" 5 HP 2 Stage Self-Propelled Snow Blower. 5 Speeds Forward. 1 Speed Reverse. Fresh Oil New added electric starter New Oil Breather New Flanged Axle Bearings New Both Auger/Drive Belts (2) New Ignition Switch with Keys (2) New Carburetor New Fuel Filter New Fuel Shut Off Valve Oldie but goodie. Classic vintage antique. Can use an electric starter as backup. Starts, runs, drive propels, and auger propels normally as it should. Everything is in good working condition. No rust. Just normal aging process as expected. Hard to start with pull start but will start with an electric starter with few push "starts". When pulling up the auger lever whilst snowblowing will cause the engine to slow down and shut down. I do not know what is wrong with it. If you could fix it, then you could have it. SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY!!!!
