These are Maui, Jim’s hula blues MJ 710–72 sunglasses They are brand new. They are a limited edition Maui Jim had teamed up with a small independent eyewear brand out of Hungary called vitalize that and they make eyewear by handcrafting vinyl records into eyewear frames. How cool is that!? The inlay of this limited edition frame is detailed with artwork inspired from the original 1923 sheet music booklet from the original Hula blues song. The frames were sold out within a year of July 2017 release date. These are extremely rare , the Hungarian handcrafted frames are sturdy strong with perfect anti-corrosive traditional pin hinges. All the writing on the inside arms are intact. When brought outside and let the sunshine on the high gloss finish it’s a really something to look at. The exterior has gloss, black arms with gold accents of Maui, Jim, and vitalize. The front is a vinyl record with grooves on them. The interior has custom artwork on all three sides. The white pinstripe to separate both sides add such a nice touch. The mint custom box has the same colorful artwork on all sides for both the interior and exterior. These are made for larger size heads. Size 55, bridge 17 temple 145.
