Description
Beautiful Conn New Wonder silver trumpet. Dating search on these vintage trumpets vary from 1909 to 1914. The serial number is 140115. This horn is in excellent playing condition and looks great. It has a very nice lacquer finish with a couple, easily removed, dings on the top of the bell flair as shown on the last trumpet photo. It has a very nice clear bell inscription. It has a satin finish with high gloss around the bell inscription and a ring of satin finish beneath the bell inscription. It has a tuning slide lock and a unique 3rd valve slide lock on the tuning slide and a working micro tuner. Length is 17 inches and valves from cap to cap is 5 1/2 inches. Bell diameter is 4 5/8 inches and has a large .484 or 4 5/8 circus bore. Valves are fast with very good compression. Includes original case, with leather valves strap lock, in good condition that needs a handle. All the top and bottom valve caps operate properly. Includes original case in good condition that needs a handle, a lyre and a vintage Vincent Bach 10 1/2 Mt Vernon New York mouthpiece in good condition. I'm a good trumpet and piano teacher if you want help with performance. Daniel
