This is an indirect evaporative cooler. Unlike a swamp cooler it doesn't add humidity to the air and there aren't any pads to change out, just a regular air filter similar to an AC unit. Worked great up until until we disconnected it. We switched to AC. It works best hooked up through a water softener. It is extremely heavy and will require several people and a truck to move. It also comes with a stand for it to sit on made of pressure treated wood. Because of the J pipe on the front it can't sit directly on the ground and has to overhang such as on a raised porch (see photo) or be placed on the stand. We also have a metal window adapter (homemade) to connect it through a window opening. We have a digital manual we can email or print off for the buyer. Thanks for looking :)
