Description

Up for sale is a very rare Trek 8700 Carbon. The bike is a large frame with 26” wheels. I’ve done a full restomod style upgrade to make this bike modernized and very capable of tackling the trails. Between the Carbon frame, the 1X crankset, and the rockshox fork this bike is super light and responsive. I’ve added a 1X9 drivetrain which allows for a super low climbing gear. I’ve climbed some pretty steep hills on this. I also added a short stem and 780mm wide bars which makes the bike feel light, sturdy, and very responsive on the downhills. This bike received a complete professional overhaul which included all new cables/housing, freshly greased wheels, new headset bearings, new bottom bracket, brand new brakes, etc. This bike needs nothing and is ready to ride.
