2011 Chevrolet Equinox

The car is in good overall shape, EXCEPT it needs a new engine. It does not run, so you get it towed to your location. You can fix it yourself or use for parts. Engine is 6 cylinder and the car has about 140K miles on it. What is this car worth to you? Make me an offer! More details below: The engine had all of the proper fluids when it conked out on the turnpike. It was towed to my mechanic’s shop in Lake Park. He was able to start it, but it made a horrible metallic screeching noise when he did. So he shut it down. He did some more investigating and found metal shavings in the oil and said the engine needed to be replaced. He is not certain of exactly what is causing the noise without dismantling the engine, and he does not want to invest more time into it. He said that it could be a seized piston or something with the cams?That’s about all that I know. I prefer to sell this car, so again, make me an offer!
