Overdrive Cicena Classic Portable AM/FM/Radio/Stereo/Cassette Player. Vintage 1991 Cicena Overdrive Radio Cassette. Emulating the 1950's American car dashboard. The radio dial lights up and looks like a speedometer. Vintage Classic Portable from circa 1991 Am/Fm/Stereo Radio/Cassette Player. The design is often compared to either ’55/’57 Chevy or  ’58 Corvette car dashes.  This unit also has all the boombox features for AM/FM radio along with a cassette player.  It is powered by an AC cord or 8 “D” batteries.   Retro and stylish cream color front and its red top, its steering wheel shaped handle, and especially its “dashboard” which lights up the station/channel numbers in orange for FM and in red for AM. Fully tested: The Stereo turns on and stations come in clear. The Antenna fully extends and contracts effortlessly. When the radio is on, the dashboard lights up! The Casette player does work however the only cassette tape I had was from an old answering machine. The tape pulled out from the cartridge so I couldn’t finish playing the messages. However it did play until the tape started to unraveled. I don’t know if the cassette needs a cleaning or the cassette tape was defective. something pulled the tape from the cassette. It played the sound on the tape but I could not test further as I only had this one cassette. it probably Needs a real good cleaning inside the player area. The cassette eject door needs to be guided to open but it does open and close. Cassette player function including auto - stop and pause. eject cassette door, tape counter and reset. Bass and treble control. LED power and stereo indicator. Also has a Headphone port.
