This patented technology is designed to replicate a naturally occurring ecosystem. The environment remains oxygenated by the built-in waterfall, and the water in the aquarium is cleaned and filtered by the plants, eliminating the need to chemically treat or frequently change the water as you would in a conventional aquarium. The garden, in turn, absorbs the nutrient-rich organic waste produced by the fish, creating an exceptional environment for growing vegetation. There's virtually no need to change the water in the aquarium, or to water the plants, thanks to the flood and drain system that cycles the water between them, all on its own. A unique side-by-side configuration looks sleek and modular, while providing you with optimal accessibility to both the aquarium and the garden. The exclusive dual lighting system includes LED grow lights (red and blue spectrums) for optimal indoor growth of the garden plants, and 6300k LED day lights for the aquarium. Both fixtures are low energy and independently programmable, to provide different lighting exposure for each zone.
