This guitar is an absolutely ONE OF A KIND Ibanez RGA8 8 string. I personally reshaped/refinished the body/headstock for a more custom, aggressive look and feel. It’s equipped with passive (but HOT) BAREKNUCKLE AFTERMATH pickups, hand-wound in the UK. Custom green flake paint job (this paint is gnarly in person! Almost aqua/teal in the right light). Custom made black anodized aluminum hardware (pickup housings, truss cover, back panel covers). Custom made black knobs with dark wood inlays. Fixed locking bridge with fine tuners. 5 piece maple/walnut neck (Wizard II-8) with a titanium truss reinforcement rod. 27” inch baritone scale length. 3-toggle switch. This thing is light for an eight string but still has awesome tone and sustain, especially for a bolt on. The guitar was purchased in 2013 for $899 US, and more than $1500 invested, not to mention lots of love, labor, and time. This guitar does not come without some blemishes, it was lightly gigged and heavily practiced with. There are some picking scratches and minor “dead spots” in the clear coat, but you really have to look in the right light to notice them. I tried to capture them in a few photos. There’s also a very small dent in the neck by the 7th fret. This guitar is meant to be PLAYED, not to win perfect condition contests. Aside from minor cosmetic blemishes, this thing is a beast and I’ll be sad to see it leave my multi stand. It’s a head-turner and always gets people asking questions, but I just haven’t utilized it in so long and play mainly acoustics nowadays.
