Blower comes with two attachments for blowing. One is more directional where as the other one is for a wider spread. This blower is extremely strong and the wider spread attachment served me best! Blower is also a vacuum. The blower end acts as the collection end with the large zippered bag attached. The bag is to retrieve material and place it in the bag for reuse. Or use the vacuum and zippered bag to pick up misc debris to dispose of cleanly in a trash can. Bag is for whatever you wish to vacuum up. The fan blades of this blower are so strong and the motor is so powerful they also mulch larger lawn cuttings into smaller, mulch size pieces for your garden or easier disposal.
