The chair is supremely comfortable, with a well-padded seat and cushioned back/armrests. Velvet is in excellent condition with no tears, stains, or signs of “wearing away” of the velvet texture that you sometimes see on velvet furniture. 360 degree swivel is very smooth. Gold pedestal base and jewel-tone emerald green velvet are right at home with mid-century modern, Art Deco, or glam decor.
