Description

Rare vintage mechanical wind-up “Walking Bear” made by Modern Toys in Japan. Dates to 1950s or earlier. Includes the original winding key. Very nice shelf display item!! Good overall condition with some wear from age and use. Key winding is a bit tight, but it can be turned and there is some head and leg movement while doing so. Modern Toys paper label underneath intact. Missing one bottom white fabric foot pad and white fabric around nose is partial. Gray fur underneath is worn away in places and around the wind-up key as shown, but still displays well. Measures about 5.5” long. See pics for more details and zoom in for closeups.
