Akita Mokko stool set includes 3 mid-century stacking bentwood stools by Isamu Kenmochi . Kenmochi was one of the most significant designers in mid-century Japan. He also collaborated with Isamu Noguchi on furniture in the early 1950s. Each stool measures 17.5 inches in height, 13 inches in length, and 16 inches in width. These stools are in great original condition circa 1960s and have not been refinished, and show wear to the finish consistent with age and use and have some cuts/tears in the black vinyl seats (see pics). Enjoy their Wabi Sabi retro charm with their sleek design and timeless style, which makes them a stylish addition to any home or space.
