Selling my much loved YT. I would continue to ride this for years to come, but sadly moving to NYC. Not a lot of hills I would need an E-MTB for out there. As for hills, this baby demolishes them. Pack in laps on a late summer afternoon during the week, charging up the fire roads in boost mode. Or adjust the settings down to eco and baby the battery for an all-day epic outing. Through the Shimano app you can adjust the settings of the Eco | Trail | Boost power modes - setting the desired power and torque for each mode. The Fox Factory suspension is like butter and the extra weight of the bike allows it to sit nicely into turns and plow through PNW root gardens. The weight is noticeable when doing anything slow and techy but the bike really feels amazing in almost any other conceivable condition - even in the air! If you are thinking about dipping your toe into the E-MTB world this bike would be a great start. The Factory Suspension is a real treat and riding 2X as much downhill per-outing can’t be beat.
