Description

For sale here is a mint condition Pioneer SX-939 receiver. My Dad bought it new in 1975. I had it fully restored (most internals replaced) about three years ago, and then it went into storage. It was restored by Steve Hawley who if you know him is a great restorer of Pioneer gear. The unit is in perfect condition except for one small blemish on the upper faceplate where our Parrot decided to see if he could eat it. The wood and metal is perfect. The unit comes with all manufacturer’s documentation, and the inner and outer shipping boxes. I do not have the foam inserts. I am happy to deliver this locally so you can test it out (maybe in your driveway or open garage). If it meets your expectations, it’s yours. I was thinking of keeping this but I am never going to get around to using it and want it to live on.
