Description

Overview: Up for sale is an absolute masterpiece. This impressionist oil painting on stretched canvas was painted by listed Hawaii artist, Irma Brickman (1(contact info removed)). Brickman started painting in 1955 and was well-known for her landscapes of her native Hawaii. The painting depicts a lush mountain/valley scene, likely of Oahu. Painting is faintly signed at lower left. Artist's name, address and phone number are written on verso. Undated, but I estimate that it dates to the late 1960's or early 1970's. Framed in a very nice wooden frame with linen matting. Condition: Painting and frame are in excellent condition. Measurements: Painting measures 24 inches wide x 15 inches high. Frame measures approximately 30.75 inches wide x 21.75 inches high.
