I brought my truck in for a simple oil change. I made an appointment for 9AM and was in my truck pulling out of the parking lot by 9:40. I was delighted. It was the quickest experience I’ve had a dealership. It was too good to be true. Driving home my truck began to overheat. I thought maybe it’s a one off thing and I’ll get home shut it off and next time I go drive it will be fine. I was wrong. It overheated again instantly. I popped the hood to see my radiator cap sitting inside the engine bay with radiator fluid covering the engine bay. I appreciate a quick service experience but fast is only good if it’s done right. My first experience at Schumacher West Palm and will probably be my last. I emailed the service department for a manager to reach out to me but have had no response so the public should know about this

Trey was absolutely amazing helping my dad find the perfect Buick. He was incredibly patient, informative, and attentive throughout the entire process. You can tell he really cares about his customers—he was kind, never pushy, and took the time to explain everything clearly. We felt comfortable and well taken care of thanks to him. Regrettably we just sold our 2023 Tesla Model Y Long Range with less then 13,000 miles. We had our eye on the 2025 GMC Acadia Denali & phoned Schumacher Buick GMC of West Palm to ensure they still had the vehicles we were interested in. We spoke with Vivian Dorantes who assured us the vehicles were there & she would pull them up for us. She met us when we arrived with her very pleasant smile & demeanor & led us out to the Acadia that she had pulled up for us. After test driving it we decided to try the Buick Enclave, well the minute we got into the Enclave we knew that this was the one we were going with. We just want to thank Vivian so much for all her patience and knowledge of the vehicles & different models they had in stock. After our exceptional experience buying our Tesla & not having to deal with a high pressuring sales team we were not looking forward to having to deal with that again. Vivian made our purchase here seamless, we were so happy to have her as our sales associate & in getting us the best possible price on our new Enclave. Her job didn’t stop when the deal was signed, she texted me several times over the next few days to ensure we were happy and to offer any additional help if we had any questions or concerns regarding our new vehicle. We cannot say enough about Vivian, she provided exceptional customer service and is certainly an asset to Schumacher Buick GMC of West Palm Beach!!

I brought my 2024 GMC Sierra AT4 to Shumacher GMC for an oil leak just 3 months after purchasing it at the end of July of 2024. After dropping it off initially, I was not given a loaner or rental vehicle after I was told I was going to be given one. The dealer had my truck for over two weeks and I hadn’t heard any updates yet. I continued to call Schumacher GMC with no answer or callbacks from the service advisor/center. Once I was able to reach someone, I was told that they are “waiting on a part for the truck.” After 3 weeks of Schumacher having my truck I was told that everything was fixed and ready for pickup. After picking it up I was shocked to see that there was still an oil leak which was WORSE than before, a 2 inch dent/gash to my rear bumper with red paint residue AND the turbocharger intercooler hose was completely off making loud noises while driving. I immediately returned the truck to the dealer. They denied that they damaged the truck and said they will troubleshoot the other 2 issues again. Over a week went by again with no updates. Every time I would call no one would answer. I got so frustrated that I called with my wife’s phone number and they answered immediately ironically. I suppose that this is because they didn’t see my name on caller ID… They stated that there’s no proof that they damaged my rear bumper and that they are waiting on parts again for the oil leak and hose repair…. This is when I got GMC corporate involved in hopes they can have some pull on expediting this matter. Surprisingly, Shumacher GMC called me 2 days after reaching out to corporate to let me know that “they’re still working on my truck.” After two months of Schumacher having my truck, I received a call stating that it was finally fixed- which everything was. Come March of 2025, the oil leak began again from the same area that it was the previous two times. I brought it back to Schumacher for a third time on April 3, 2025. I had the same problem again this time with not receiving a rental car. I had to call Schumacher multiple times prior to the rental car (Hertz) company closing for the day- I needed a car to go to work the next day… I had to pay for an uber myself to go to Hertz to get there just in time before 5PM…. After 2 weeks went by I began to call to get an update with no answer as usual. I called with my neighbor’s phone and got an answer immediately. This was totally unacceptable and frustrating that they continued to ignore my phone calls purposely.  They told me that the “Oil leak was different this time and not the same as the other 2 times and they were waiting on parts again. (The oil leak was from the same area and face plate on the oil tank that it was the previous two times; not sure how it could be different this time.) I got GMC corporate involved again to help assist with this for the third time. Schumacher would not even respond to corporate’s requests for additional information. After 3 weeks I was notified that my truck was fixed. Upon arrival everything seemed to be in working condition and fixed.

Over the course of 9 months, my truck was at Shumacher GMC of West Palm Beach for over 80 days to fix the same reoccurring problem 3 times. This is unacceptable. The lack of caring, customer service, communication, carelessness and stress that this dealer had created is by far the worst I ever experienced with a dealer. THEY STILL ARE NOT RESPONDING TO CORPORATE’S REQUESTS TO PROVIDE INFORMATION TO THEM! I requested that I be reimbursed for the prorated amount of days that Shumacher had my truck. I pay over $1,300 a month in payments to lease this truck, and for over 80 days I was not in possession of it due to the lack of competency of this dealer. I will definitely NOT be returning here and I hope that my unfortunate experience with Shumacher will shed light on the internal problems that this dealer has so no other person can go through the same as I still currently am.
