Used in the China cabinet nothing more. From the 1950’s This is the most beautiful iridescent Green Indiana Carnival Glass Footed Oval Fruit Bowl in the Harvest Grape pattern that I've ever seen!! Bowl measures approx. 12-1/4" x 8-1/2" x 4-1/2". Pattern - Harvest Grape Manufacturer: Indiana Glass Color: Iridescent green, blue and purples. This is an Outstanding Indiana Glass Bowl, just beaming, with an Electric Green Finish! Plenty of Pinks & Purples, Neon Icy Blues, with Hot Burgundy & Gold Iridescence. The iridescent shine is stunning. Condition is EXCELLENT!!! All Carnival Glass from the Golden Age of Carnival (1907-1930) is iridescent pressed glass made in the United States (except where noted), to compete with other American & European high-end glass firms. Each individual piece was poured, tooled, shaped and colored by hand. When the Great Depression hit, the "pretty glass" fell out of favor and could no longer be afforded by the general public. With the factories full of glass, they were eventually given away as prizes at carnivals and State Fairs. Carnival Glass is pure, classic Americana. No Two Pieces Are Ever The Same.
