The tag states: "Klondike Kellie discovers gold in Alaska and the Yukon during the Klondike Gold Rush of 1898." Very rare. Per the owner of Alaska Christmas Store , Cia Farnan, who is also the designer of this doll. She told me it took two years to design the doll in collaboration with Precious Moments, and that the clothing is designed specific to the area and time period. She said she signed all of the dolls on the foot. This doll was part of a collection which included Hawaii and Puerto Rico. This doll was retired approximately 4 years ago.
