German Violin for Sale - Gorgeous sound, regularly maintained, Full size

Mid-century German fiddle for sale, Fritz Otto Kaiser/CA Goetz company. Overwhelmingly, this fiddle's shining feature is its even, warm sound. It plays beautifully, readily, evenly, and is generally just a treat to have in hand. Its sound is rich and warm and just vastly beyond standard student fiddles (I've heard A LOT, and this is by far the best). I helped my student to purchase it back in 2010ish, and when she decided to move on to piano, I instantly offered to scoop it up from her, since it's such a fantastic, flattering instrument to play. I'm now moving out of the country, and downsizing is necessary. In excellent condition. It was just in with the luthier in October 2024 for a tune up and once-over (there were no issues - none at present, either). Features: Spruce top with golden/cherry Strad coloration, two piece maple back, ebony fittings and chin rest, quality maple bridge. Includes: Two bows (composite and entry level pernambuco); ultralight violin case; KUN shoulder rest; rosin. Note: there is damage to the hinges of the case, which could definitely be repaired. It hasn't been necessary, as the locking clasp and fabric outer is enough to securely hold the case closed and it hasn't been an issue. Please contact me with questions or to come see it!
