Kodak FD300 APS Advantix Film Scanner

If you have a shoebox full of APS film, and have considered converting to digital for long term storage, this is for you. I recently digitized 50 rolls of APS film with the help of this scanner. These were photos that were taken of our newborn son “around the turn of the century”. That is back when APS film was a thing, shortly before digital cameras hit the scene and sent the film world as a whole towards extinction. Film scanning services can be pricey, at $5 – $10 per roll. So going the scan-it-yourself route saved me about $400. These scanners are hard to find, so hard that I can’t even find a link to one online for reference. Note: Due to its age, this scanner requires a PC with a parallel port running Windows 95 or Windows 98. These can be hard to find :), so I can provide the one I used if needed.
