5.3 LM7 2000 Silverado Engine Block

I got a 5.3 GM Gen 3 engine block I started to rebuild for a spare cause have multiple Chevy trucks. Been too busy to finish. Trying make space in garage. And no real need for it right now. It is about ready to start reassembly. Still need to clean crank/ports and inspect cams. And of course reassemble heads and block I believe they are 799 cylinder heads Things I have done. - Honed cylinders. - cleaned out oil ports on block - cleaned most all mount bolts holes - cleaned all pistons - tore down head. Removed couple broken exhaust bolts All new parts included - full FelPro engine reassembly gasket kit - FelPro head bolts - MAHLE piston rings - CLEVITE rod and main bearings - a couple new sensors - Mellings high flow oil pump - Jegs brand timing chain and gear - FelPro crank pulley mount bolt Maybe a couple other things will have to see when pull all out. - engine is in a engine stand soaked with WD40 wrapped in trash bags. I have removed bags and reposted a couple times since I started cleaning it all just to prevent rust. Great project for beginner. Or to build and sell. Or to upgrade. Can do anything you want with this. I got the engine from a friend who thought was locked up. So he bought a 6.0 and swapped it. Cause that was the plan anyways. But when he pulled engine found his issue was the transmission. So engine ran when torn apart. Was over 200k miles.
