I just bought a BMW X6 M Competition from Hermes Auto Group and the experience was top tier. Nick was straight up with me the whole time. We had long conversations, he answered every question I had, and I never felt rushed or pressured. He made the process easy and smooth. I got an amazing deal and a great warranty too. If you’re in the market for a car, definitely go see Nick.

Our 3-month hunt for a car for our son is over thanks to Hermes Auto Group. Both the owner and his partner were professional and worked with us on a fair price. All fees were disclosed and itemized.  There were no unwanted add-ons or hidden fees when comparing the numbers on the purchase agreement.  We had visited 6 dishonest dealerships before this one and so we're very thankful for our experience!

In October of 2024, we purchased a vehicle for my son here at Hermes Auto Group.  Fast forward 8 months and we are thinking of possibly selling the vehicle, so I attempted to cancel the extended warranty we purchased with the vehicle.  I followed the directions for cancellation that was stated on the contract to the letter.  I was told by the representative at Freedom Warranty, that the cancellation form would be sent to Hermes for their signature.  I was told if no signature was received wiithin 30 days, the cancellation would go through and a refund would be issued.  After the 30 days, I contacted Freedom Warranty to check on the status.  I was told I needed to contact Hermes...I was getting ready to go on a 2-week vacation, so I did not want to deal with it.  I came back from vacation and had to contact somebody else at Freedom Warranty because the original person I was corresponding with decided to ghost me.  This new person looped in Nick and said I had to contact him.  After a couple of attempts via email, I finally got a call from Nick on 6/24/25.  He proceeded to tell me that the "discount" I got on the car was contingent on getting the extended warranty and not cancelling it.  I do no recall this AT ALL!  What I do recall is he said I could get a discount if I used one of their lenders, which I did.  He then mentioned that he has a signed document that I agreed to this, which I can tell you I would not have knowingly signed.  A honest dealership goes over and explains every single document before signing.  I'm sure he rifled through the documents in hopes that I didn't notice, which unfortunately I did not.  Lesson learned I guess.  This "discount" I received was only like $500, so we aren't talking big money here.  I guess when you deal with Mickey Mouse dealerships that line Scottsdale Rd in Southern Scottsdale, they have to make every last dollar on every deal to keep the doors open. As you can imagine, I was pretty irate and may have dropped an F-bomb or two...I didn't get to finish my outburst because Nick hung up on me.  I have 2 more children I need to purchase vehicles for in the next few years, and I can tell you without a doubt, they won't be purchased here.  You get one opportunity to earn my current and future business, and Hermes Auto Group failed in that regard.

I called inquiring about a vehicle and got the displeasure of speaking to the owner.  He is the most unprofessional person I've ever spoken to in my life. As you can see by his 3rd grader level responses to anyone who dares criticize him on here, he exhibits no professionalism whatsoever.

I spoke to him about the price of the car and fees. I didn't want to waste anyone's time so I cut to the chase on what I was willing to pay. It was evident we wouldn't come to an agreement which was totally fine, at least for me. Instead of realizing we couldn't make a deal and getting off the phone, he decided arguing with, insulting, and belittling me was the best idea. This guy seems to be very impressed with himself and some "corvette club" he runs that he mentioned about 10 times for no reason at all since it had nothing to do with a ford focus. He kept telling me I was delusional and using "arbitrary numbers" for going off of kelley blue book. He just didn't like that I wanted to pay mid range blue book and he wanted top blue book price. At one point he said something absolutely brilliant. He said, "I've sold more cars than you'll ever own." I'd hope so since he said he's owned this dealership since the 1990s so that wasn't quite the win he thought it was. I kept telling him thanks and we'd not come to a deal but he couldn't accept that and kept ranting and raving about everything he knows and his beloved "corvette club." His brazen arrogance is beyond anything I've ever experienced. I can't believe a "business man" would speak to the public in this manner. We may not have made a deal on this vehicle but the future could have brought a deal that suited us both. However, now, even if he met all of my terms, I'd never buy a vehicle from him. I sure hope he treats his employees better than this.

I'm not telling anyone to not shop here for a vehicle. I just want potential customers to be forewarned about and braced for what to expect from the owner.

Hopefully the owner will do some self reflecting and become more professional. It's doubtful he will. Instead I'm thinking he'll come on here with a ridiculous response.

One of the smoothest car deals I have ever done. Nick was extremely nice and professional.  He assisted my son in his first vehicle purchase and we were very impressed and grateful for his help. Thank you Hermes Auto Group!
