Selling my Yamaha EX5R rackmount synth. This is a rare upgraded unit that includes: • Custom LED screen upgrade • SD card emulator (no need for floppy disks) • SCSI board installed • Maxed out 64MB RAM & 16MB flash memory • Latest OS version • Comes with step-down transformer (100v to 120v for US use) • Includes IEC power cable It powers on, but doesn’t function correctly after being damaged during shipping. Screen lights up, but the unit doesn’t boot or respond. Could be an easy fix for someone who knows synths. These are modular inside, so might just be a loose cable, memory, or OS issue. I don’t have time or tools to troubleshoot, so I’m letting it go as-is. Great for parts, repair, or restoration.
