Description

Antique, vintage 19th century Civil War Cannonball Tong's. Sometimes tongs were used to transfer red hot cannonballs into mortars, igniting fires from the hot cannonballs. Other times it was simply easier to pick them up, as seen in the picture I've provided. Note: Cannonball not included. Only tongs. There's a maker's mark, but it's so worn, I can't make it out. Extremely rare item that will fit into your man cave or Civil War collection perfectly. Will trade for gold or silver! Price is firm, and exactly what I have into it.
