Rich mirror-bright copper lustre with warm patina; a lovely example of 19th-century Staffordshire taste in a compact, display-friendly size. Materials: Earthenware body with copper lustre metallic overglaze; roughcast/sand-textured band; clear interior glaze Style/Theme: Victorian Staffordshire copper lustre; “roughcast” pink band; pedestal foot, beaded rim; cottage/folk/English country décor Age: c. 1840–1870 (19th century) Size: approx. 4 in W x 4 in H Condition: Good antique condition with honest age wear—rub/wear and small scratches to lustre, a few firing specks/pinholes and glaze irregularities, minor base/edge wear; no cracks noted and stands sound (see photos).
