1988 vintage Raleigh Scott Tinley Tri-lite technium triathlon bicycle 50cm 20 in This is a great high quality vintage bike. The triathlon bike is like a road bike with a few differences. I will let you worry about that as you probably know more than I do already. Slightly different riding position and such. But really, this should be a good all-around city or road bike. It's very lightweight at about 22 lb and was pretty high-end, named for famous triathlon rider Scott Tinley, famous triathlete and two-time world iron Man winner. The color scheme is an awesome '80s mix of yellow gray and pink. This would be a great frame for a city bike project, but it is complete and in good shape as it is, but it's going to need a bit of fine tuning and tune up. The wheels are fine but the presta valve hole has been drilled out to Schrader valve size, but I don't think this compromises the strength or integrity but it is not original. I also have an identical one with a taller frame of 22 in 55 cm. It is more original, so if you wanted a taller frame but wanted to switch out the original components to this one, we could work out a deal. Or if you wanted the taller frame one for more of a project with different components, I could make you a deal and switch out these components to the other one to sell to someone else. Or you could buy them both and do what you want with them, maybe make two original for you and someone else or two custom projects. The other one is 275 or I will do 400 for both. I saw someone once using a frame like this with a leather brooks saddle and a fixie setup for running around the city. No shortage of things you can do with a cool frame like this.
